National Waterfront Museum: learn about the maritime history of Wales.

Glynn Vivian Art Gallery: a selection of portraits and porcelain housed in a Edwardian baroque style building. Recently refurbished.
Dylan Thomas Centre: an arts centre located at the Marina. Opened in 1995 by former US President Jimmy Carter, the centre showcases the life and work of famous poet Dylan Thomas.
Hafod Copperworks: this copperworks museum, established during the Industrial Revolution, offers a glimpse into Swansea’s forgotten industry smelting copper and tin.
Swansea Museum Tramway Centre: A free museum that lets you see the progression of trams and transportation in Swansea.

- Swansea Castle: Only part of the original castle survives as it was demolished to create a newspaper office where the famous Dylan Thomas worked.
