Getting active in Cornwall

Getting to and around Plymouth, Devon

When it comes to getting to Devon there are a lot of options for you. You can use your own vehicle and drive yourself there, although you will need to pay for fuel, car parking and you’ll have the inconvenience of driving yourself, learning your routes and losing time to things like looking for a parking space. You could use public transportation, such as taking a train or a coach, although this will not take you to your hotel or to the door of your destination, so you will have to do some walking (with your luggage) or take more public transportation. Another alternative is to use a Plymouth minibus hire, preferably one with a driver.

The benefits of Minibus Hire in Plymouth

There are lots of benefits to choosing minibus hire in Plymouth, instead of driving yourself or using public transport, including:

  • A minibus will give you and your entire party plenty of space, allowing your group to stay together and take as much luggage with you as you need.
  • You don’t have to worry about having any problems with your vehicle. If you drive your own car and something happens then you will need to put your plans on hold while you get your vehicle fixed. Whereas if you hire a minibus and something happens to it, the minibus company will replace it with a vehicle that works, allowing you to get the most out of your time in Plymouth.
  • Minibus travel is more relaxing if you also have a driver, there’s less chance of you getting lost, you don’t need to learn any routes and you can drive as much alcohol as you like (within reason of course).
  • A local driver will have local knowledge, meaning they will be able to make suggestions and recommendations that help you maximise your time. For example, they’ll know what routes get busy and should be avoided, or what areas are busier during certain times. Local drivers will able to suggest alternative routes to destinations, should there be any problems with the standard route.
  • You can dropped off and picked up from your door, you don’t need to worry about the weather or spending much time outside, instead you’ll be treated like royalty.
